Namitha has acted in Telugu,Tamil, Kannada, Hindi & Malayalam films. She made her debut in the Telugu film Sontham. Subsequent to that, Namitha became famous after the Tamil film Engal Anna together with actor Vijayakanth. Namitha starred in Tamil Film "Aai" the song "Arjuna Arjuna" [a sexy film ] along with actor Sarath Kumar, which ended up as a big hit. Her screen name for the first two Telugu movies was Bhairavi.
